An investor buyer who will not occupy the property and intends to rent it to another party may allow a current tenant with an existing lease to stay until the lease’s Termination Date.
Buyers who intend to occupy the property are not subject to the survival of lease regulations, however, they must still comply with the 90 days notice provision.
