First impression is everything in real estate. When a buyer arrives at your house, the first thing they see is the exterior of your home. So, you want to make sure you have a nice curb appeal. When a buyer enters your home, your house needs to smell fresh and inviting. Avoid cooking right before the showing, and also set the temperature in a comfortable temperature not too cold, not too hot, because you want to make sure the buyer feels comfortable touring the house. Do declutter your house. Make sure you remove any personal items, such as family pictures, because the buyer gets distracted. You want to make sure the buyer can imagine themselves living in the house. Avoid being present at the showing because the buyer may not be able to comfortably ask their agent questions. If you have any questions about this, feel free to call me and I’ll guide you through it.
